Quote of the week for me (and Griff I imagine) comes from Jordi's favourite Alty legend and Manager of Welsh champions TNS, after being drawn against Liverpool.
" A village team playing the European champions, it's unbelievable," said Ken McKenna, the TNS manager. "But I'd have preferred a draw which gave a chance of reaching the third round, when the big boys come in, like Everton."

What a wonderfully funny quote.
Won't go down too well at Anfield Road, I suppose. Anyway, someday I must get the first Ken McKenna fan club in Spain started
Incidentally, yesterday Hospitalet got promoted to Segunda Division B. I was there! And they played with the traditional kit, all white with a diagonal red line going accross, like Peru and Rayo Vallecano... cool.
don't you dare mention that Peru strip - bad fucking memories. Argentina '78 and we get stuffed by Cubillas and his mates only a few days before we can only manage a 1-1 draw with Iraq - yes, fucking IRAQ!!! But, of course, we then go on to beat the eventual finalists 3-2, including one of the greatest goals of all time - Kenny Dalglish passes to Archie Gemmell, he passes one, he passes two, he passes three and four and slides the ball past the Dutch keeper (fucking hell, this is orgasm time a la Trainspotting - unfortunately, I reach nirvana on my own)!!!!!!!
Sorry for that, btw.
I was going to suggest we buy a job lot and make it the Counago & Spaves official kit, but Reidski would probably never speak to us again!
Reidski,
You mean Iran of course. ;-)
whatever
