Bad Decision?
I've been informed this week by Uncut magazine that I have won 2 tickets to this weekends Guilfest. And like the idiot I am I've returned them in order to watch Alty vs. Greenock Morton in a pre-season friendly. Having checked out the bands I'm not too bothered (why did I enter the comp in the first place?) but it's still a freebie and I'll probably never win anything again. The buggers could've told me before I'd bought my season ticket at least!

You'll miss Paul Weller and Status Quo. You're already a winner.
See Ken McKenna last night?
ooh aah! TNS conceded as many goals to liverpool as AC Milan, therefore...
Not ooh aah! Should just be ooh! sorry.
No interview with him on TV3, sadly.
Maybe when they win the return leg.
You never know, an early goal , a sending off,Jerzy Dudek..
Forget about Spanish-flavour Liverpool. Viva Ken McKenna el Grande!
You will probably never have an opportunity to see anything like that Sunday line-up assembled in one place ever again.
Not until Guilfest 2006 anyway
What's wrong with you miserable buggers - The Others, Proclaimers, Echo and the Bunnymen, Richmond Fontaine, Willard Grant Conspiracy - it's a fucking great line-up!!!!
Agreed, but the Proclaimers are playing Galway this week, Echo played Barcelona, and Willard Grant come over often enough that we don't have to go to bloody Guildford to see them.
Out of those Richmond Fontaine are probably the only band I haven't seen who I'd like too see. When balanced against the opportunity to see Morton , well , what would you do ?
Yeah ,you're right, I'm a dick.
Greenock 3 Altrincham 1 ,goals ratio and fan ratio embarrassingly.
Alty never recovered from conceding a Derek Lilley goal after 40 secs.and even contrived to miss two pens against a side reduced to 10 men,by a jobswoth ref, for over an hour. No sign of Lulu.
