So far so good. I've only seen the first two before.

I just heard about it. At the press conference, one of the organizers emphasized that the presence of Motorhead is not a joke.
Anyway, see you guys in Barcelona.

but that the presence of Babyshambles is.

C U there!

The Joke are on before Motorhead by the look of it.

That's a quality line up - except for the last-named pile of pish.

Heh heh. Still, at least it's not the Arctic Minkeys, eh?

Now come on. Who in their right mind would book Babyshambles more than say 24 hours in advance? Doherty's life expectancy has got to be worse than that of Ariel Sharon.

I'm going to Barcelona in August! Am SO excited!

Presumably, Jane, you'll be in one of the boxes at Camp Nou, sat behind the club president.

One has come to expect a certain degree of luxury at one's football matches.

A roof.
Flushing toilets.
A drink in the bar with Laporta.

No, I don't ask for much :-)

We won't be seeing you down the Alty anytime soon then.

A few thoughts on the list: Lambchop - we saw Lambchop a couple of years ago in Sheffield. Don't expect a lot of stage movement from el Kurt (though his backing guitarist may "wig out" a bit!) but the guy has a strangely endearing charisma sat on his stool, tapping his feet...And an amazing voice.

Am sure The Flaming Lips will more than make up for Lambchop's minimal stage movement with their own brand of showmanship. High expectations for them to top previous performances?

Warning on Sleater-Kinney: they've twice pulled UK trips because singer Carrie has been ill. Hopefully she will by now be fully recovered but she has been ill for a while. Mind, I'd be well chuffed to see them.

Stereolab would be interesting to see since the death of one of their key members: I saw them as support to Pulp at Blackpool Empress Ballroom. They were incredible.

Dead envious of those going - its still term time for me for so less chance to sneak a weekend away... GRR...
