Hi-mrg

As Primavera is a distant memory I'll just review the gigs that I've been to since. Teenage Fanclub (OK), Alabama 3 (Four stars), M Ward (Genius), and The Trashcans Sinatras (better last time). Tonight I'm going to see Sons & Daughters who impressed in Barcelona in the short time we saw them so good things are expected in what will no doubt be a packed Night & Day.I might even review it tomorrow if I get a chance.

Thou art most welcome. Is that four stars out of five or ten?

Four out of four and three quarters. Not keen on all the new stuff but they still made it entertaining.

I also thought Trashcan Sinatras best last time I saw them - but at least they played (or they did in London last Saturday night, anyway) Obscurity Knocks, first time I've heard it live in about 12 years (since the Pete Wylie episode, but that's another story!!!).

Hi, Martin. I see you've been keeping busy since the Primavera Sound festival.
I haven't seen any band since then. Of course, the most interesting(?) gigs around here lately have been Moby, Billy Corgan, Garbage... You lucky sod! ;-)

Unfortunately that seems to be the end of my fun for a while. No gigs that interest me on the horizon. I might have to look further afield.
