Bilbao or Bust

I've just booked a trip to Bilbao for a few days and, apart from the Guggenheim and Guernica, I wondered if anyone could recommend anything or had any experience of the city or the area.

Well, I could suggest Athletic's ground, San Mamés, also known as 'The Cathedral'. And it's a policy of the club that all their players are Basque. Probably, a unique case in the main football leagues in Europe, building a side exclusively from local players which have come through the youth ranks.

Unfortunately I don't arrive until 8pm on Sunday so won't be able to catch a game I shouldn't think.

Villa have a similar policy. They only sign players who are shit or injured.

In that case, please don't sign Jonathan Woodgate. We need him at Real Madrid...
