Following on from last week, Mastermind throws down it's other gauntlet tonight at 8pm. Specialist subject: British Indie "1979-1989". Those were the days, when Indie was a philosophy and not just a guitar sound.
Big fans of Mastermind and University Challenge 'round our place. Great when the specialist round is something where you might get a few right. Though I was useless at Bill Hicks last week.
Not bad. But the missus always trashes me. The Indie questions were fairly easy for a specialist round. Forwarded past the other other specialist rounds.
That's funny! no I didn't recognise him. No better man!
But they've started to speak to me after Bolton defeats. And I think that they are really prawns. My psychoanalyst, who takes the £50 and leaves the room after 4 minutes and doesn't come back, thinks I may have Brian London Syndrome.

Hi John. How did you get on tonight?
I did rubbish on the Hicks questions, too, but they were all about his career rather than his material.
Did you recognize the guy answering the questions?

No wonder he did so well.

Sorry. I just can't get those crabs that are lobsters out of my head. I blame this blog.
Hi Mike--
Every man is responsible for his own lobsters. Sorry.
